Biography

An experienced Business Services Client Manager, Alex has more than eight years of experience helping individuals and businesses navigate their accounting, taxation and compliance requirements. Reliability, trust and attention to detail are central to his approach, both in building strong client relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues.

At Alexander Spencer, Alex oversees the preparation of financial statements and tax returns and provides general tax advisory services, ensuring clients receive clear, practical guidance tailored to their circumstances. He particularly enjoys working closely with business owners to help them meet their compliance obligations, plan for growth and make informed financial decisions.

Building accessible and trusted relationships with clients is an important part of Alex’s approach. Whether through a quick phone call, an email or a face-to-face meeting, he makes it a priority to be available and approachable, giving clients confidence that they have the support they need.

Having progressed from a graduate accountant to a management role, Alex understands the challenges and opportunities that come with each stage of an accounting career. As a leader, he takes pride in mentoring team members, making complex concepts easier to understand and creating an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

Alex completed his Chartered Accountant qualification in 2019 and believes in leading by example through high professional standards, a strong work ethic and respect for others.

Outside of work, Alex is passionate about snowboarding and enjoys travelling and exploring new destinations.
