Anthony Modica

Biography

An experienced accounting Manager, Anthony brings more than a decade of experience to his work with clients at Alexander Spencer. Known for his calm and considered approach, he manages a diverse portfolio of clients across industries including healthcare and property development, helping them meet their accounting and compliance requirements while building strong, long-term relationships.

Anthony has worked his way through a range of roles throughout his accounting career, from administration and graduate positions through to senior, supervisory and management roles. This experience has given him a broad understanding of the profession and shapes the way he works with both clients and colleagues, with an emphasis on empathy, clear communication and practical support.

Anthony’s approach is simple: get it right the first time and make sure the client feels confident throughout the process. Recognising that his clients are focused on running their businesses and managing their day-to-day responsibilities, he aims to make accounting matters straightforward, avoid unnecessary jargon and provide practical guidance that considers the bigger picture.

From onboarding new clients to resolving long-standing accounting and compliance matters, Anthony focuses on achieving the right outcome rather than simply the fastest one. He takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and priorities, providing considered support that helps them make informed decisions with confidence.

Outside of work, Anthony is a long-suffering Carlton supporter and is currently building a house with his wife. The experience has provided its own lessons in budgeting, managing timelines and staying calm when things do not go to plan, further reinforcing his appreciation for clear communication and careful planning.
